The unveiling of these initiatives took place during the inaugural media partners meeting at Via Riyadh in the Kingdom’s capital on Monday. The new projects encompassed a Communication Academy dedicated to enhancing the advertising sector within the Kingdom, the “Communication+,” a new project to provide extensive training opportunities in the field of digital content creation as well as a new media leadership program to prepare and empower the emerging generation of media professional in the region. In addition the minister announced the launch of a new joint work environment for practicing various media arts, and the “Speakers+” project to develop and empower leaders in government agencies and the private sector. Al-Dosari explained that the meeting, which attracted more than 200 attendees from the media and communication sectors, is a result of the ministry’s commitment to developing partnerships with government and private sector organizations to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The meeting also included an exhibition of some prominent media projects, such as the Saudi Treasures Initiative, and the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Government Communication Center at the Ministry of Information and the Human Resources Development Fund HADAF. Al-Dosari underscored the focus of the partnership is on encouraging engagement in the digital content industry sector while reinforcing and localizing professions within the media sector, particularly in digital advertising, digital games, digital video, and digital audio.
