Makkah Deputy Emir reviews services for pilgrims and readiness of plans for Tashreeq days

Deputy Emir of Makkah and Deputy Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee Prince Saud bin Mishal was briefed on the progress of work and services provided to the guests of God and the readiness of the plans to be implemented during the days of Tashreeq (Dhul Hijjah 11-13, corresponding to June 17-19). This was during a meeting with a number of ministers and commanders of security forces, who are participating in the Kingdom’s Hajj operation, at the emirates’ office in Mina on Monday. Those who attended the meeting included Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah; Minister of Transport and Logistics Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser; Commander of the Hajj Security Forces Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Bassami; Acting Director General of Civil Defense Maj. Gen. Dr. Hamoud Al-Faraj and a number of commanders of security forces. During the meeting, the Deputy Emir was also briefed on the work of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, which focuses on implementing and applying preventive measures, initiatives to enhance safety awareness among pilgrims, as well as operational aspects. While receiving Commander of the Security Forces for Facilities Maj. Gen. Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Prince Saud listened to a briefing on the role of the forces at the Mashaer Train stations and their efforts in organizing pedestrian movement and managing crowds.
