DUBAI: The Fall 2024 couture collection by Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika has wowed audiences at Paris Haute Couture Week. For the latest updates, follow us on Instagram @arabnews.lifestyle The collection features a diverse color palette, ranging from neutral shades to vibrant hues and soft pastels including purple, blue, pink, orange, green and yellow. Some garments are heavily embroidered, with others in softer materials such as crepe, chiffon and satin. The runway witnessed an array of fashion, including embroidered, oversized tailored suits, dresses adorned with fringe detailing, and sheer tulle gowns embellished with lace. There were dresses with regal, elegant sleeves, while others had hoods or were covered in sequins and shimmered from top to bottom. Dramatic trains, capes and coats were all featured, while necklines ranged from halter to sweetheart, from one-shoulder to strapless. The bridal gown was adorned with three-dimensional floral detail, while the sheer tulle sleeves were accented with delicate pearls. The star-studded show took place at the Hotel Pozzo Di Borgo and was attended by celebrities from around the world including Chinese actress Fan Bingbing, German influencer and blogger Leonie Hanne, Egyptian actress Ghada Abdelrazek, Egyptian Russian actress Nelly Karim, Brazilian actress Gessica Kayane, Brazilian YouTuber Thassia Naves, Filipino German model and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Saudi influencers Lama Al-Akeel and Hala Abdallah, Iranian model Farnoush Hamidian and Brazilian model Marianne Fonseca. Hobeika is one of Lebanon’s leading designers, renowned for his couture creations and ready-to-wear collections. He has dressed numerous A-list celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift and Emma Stone, for high-profile events such as the Oscars, Grammys and Cannes Film Festival.
