A serving Metropolitan police officer is due to appear in court charged with rape and stalking. PC Jake Cummings, attached to central west command unit, has been charged with two counts of rape, three counts of stalking, three counts of controlling and coercive behaviour and three counts of voyeurism. These charges relate to three female victims. It follows an investigation by Hertfordshire police. Cummings is due to appear for trial at St Albans crown court on Monday. The Met’s directorate of professional standards is aware and Cummings has been suspended from duties.
