Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah concluded his official visit Tajikistan and Turkmenistan at the head of a high-level delegation from the Guests of God Service Program Committee. Al-Rabiah, who is chairman of the committee, held several consultative meetings to enhance cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the two Central Asian states in the pilgrim service sector in order to improve and enrich the experience of the guests of God so that they can perform their rituals with ease and comfort. He also welcomed the guests of God from Central Asian countries, specifically Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, via various ports of entry and throughout the year. confirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment and keenness to care for the guests of God and provide the opportunity for the largest number of Muslims to perform the rituals with ease and peace of mind. The Saudi government pays great attention to the guests of God coming from different countries of the world and seeks to provide the best services and offer everything that would enhance their experience and achieve the comfort and safety of pilgrims and visitors. The Minister of Hajj and Umrah began his official visit to Tajikistan by meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Hakim Khaliqzoda. He also met with the Chairman of the Oliy Majlis of Tajikistan, Muhammad Tahir Zakirzoda. He also held a joint discussion session with the Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs and Organization of Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies, Suleimanzoda, and the relevant bodies serving pilgrims and visitors from the Tajik side. The visit also included meetings and introductory sessions at the Nusuk Council for Tajik Companies, to introduce the opportunities provided by the Nusuk platform in planning the Umrah trip and exploring tourist and enrichment destinations for pilgrims and visitors coming from Tajikistan. During Dr. Al-Rabiah’s visit to Turkmenistan, he met with the Deputy Prime Minister for Education, Social and Religious Affairs, Bayram Mutyevna, in addition to the Mufti of Turkmenistan, Sheikh Yalqab Khojakuliyev. He also met with Mammadkhan Chagiyev, Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency in Turkmenistan. The Turkmen side expressed their thanks and appreciation for the care, attention and facilities provided by Saudi Arabia to the Guests of God from Turkmenistan, in addition to discussing ways of cooperation and coordination to develop services and procedures for the journey of the Turkmen pilgrims. These visits are an extension of international communication efforts, as part of the objectives of the Guests of God Service Program, one of the programs of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to meet the aspirations of pilgrims and visitors coming from all over the world.
