A total of 800,000 Saudi families have received financial support of more than SAR900 (US240) in the second batch of the Citizen’s Account Program, knowing that the amount was deposited on January 10. More than 21% housewives registered in the program as beneficiaries of the second financial installment -- the second batch of SAR2.1 billion (USD533 million) was made a few days earlier. Some 52% of singles (male), 48% of singles (women), and 66% of families registered for financial support in the second batch, revealed the statement. Citizen’s Account Program receives inquiries and calls through the call center on number 19912 from Sunday to Thursday, eight in the morning till ten evening. The customer service account [email protected] and the e-portal www.ca.gov.sa are also available for inquiries. The Citizen Account aims at alleviating possible direct and indirect consequences of economic reforms on Saudi households. Allowances are dispersed on the 20th of each month, unless it coincides with the weekend.
