Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Friday the Syrian regime’s chemical attacks in the Eastern Ghouta enclave in the capital Damascus. A source from the Saudi Foreign Ministry deemed the regime’s attack a blatant violation of international laws. It stressed that this hostile act goes against international efforts aimed at politically resolving the Syrian crisis according to the Geneva declaration and United Nations Security Council resolution 2254. UN war crimes experts said earlier this week that they are investigating several reports of bombs allegedly containing chlorine gas being used against civilians.
