RIYADH: The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh, where dozens of high-profile Saudis were detained on corruption charges, will resume to guests on Sunday, Feb. 11. Western media outlets had reported that the hotel would re-open on Feb. 14, but Arab News has confirmed that it will resume operations on Sunday. The hotel’s new executive chef has created a new menu for its popular restaurants, and there will be an open buffet next Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16 and 17, from noon to midnight. About 40 princes, officials and businessmen were detained in the hotel after their arrest in early November. All have since been either charged or released.
