JEDDAH: The General Authority for Culture (GAC), represented by its CEO Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Maziad, has signed a memorandum of understanding with King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) to enhance cooperation in various cultural fields in the Kingdom. The MoU addressed the establishment of projects and activities to be held at KAEC. These events would help support cultural and artistic activities by attracting global expertise and rehabilitate and empower national cadres. Al-Maziad said: “The signing of the memorandum comes from the authority’s keenness to build goal-oriented and fruitful partnerships with KAEC, which would stimulate and develop the Kingdom’s cultural sector and improve its elements and constituents to serve the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. The authority’s efforts are mainly focused on building an inspiring a society that contributes to the development of individuals’ lifestyles in accordance with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. It highlights Saudi Arabia’s cultural identity by organizing diverse activities and spreading values that deepen the feeling of national belonging. It is also shedding light on the Kingdom’s global status and showcasing its cultural advancement and its role in the development of the intellectual, creative, cultural and artistic movement.
