JEDDAH: The marshal (speaker) of the Senate of Poland, Stanislaw Karchevsky, praised the work of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 when he met Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, KSRelief’s general supervisor, on Wednesday in the Polish capital of Warsaw. Al-Rabeeah highlighted in detail the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief efforts, which are carried out by KSRelief and have benefited 42 countries in four continents. He also highlighted that KSRelief has implemented 294 humanitarian and relief projects in all Yemeni governorates. Karchevsky hailed the Kingdom’s international role on all political, economic and humanitarian levels and expressed his admiration for Vision 2030, which he described as an ambitious vision that would give the Kingdom an important role in the global economy. He pointed out that KSRelief, with its international role, has won the appreciation of the Polish government. Al-Rabeeah also met the deputy marshal of the Sejm (parliament) of Poland, Beata Mazurek, and presented the humanitarian efforts of KSRelief in Yemen and other countries. During the meeting, Al-Rabeeah and Mazurek discussed humanitarian and relief issues in Yemen and the main challenges that limit and restrict humanitarian action. Mazurek hailed Saudi Arabia’s efforts in Yemen and other countries to alleviate the suffering of those affected. She emphasized that the Kingdom is a strategic partner of Poland on all levels and in all fields and that the relationship between the two countries is friendly and a lasting partnership.
