Saudi Arabia is among the leading donors to Palestine and supporters of agencies working to help Palestinians JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia has called on the UN and the international community to make urgent efforts to persuade Israel to commit to the peace process, halt its settlement projects, lift the siege on Gaza, stop violating the rights of the Palestinian people and end the occupation of the Palestinian and other Arab territories. Ambassador Abdallah Yahya Al-Mouallimi, permanent representative of Saudi Arabia to the UN in New York, said: “The reports submitted to the Special Political and Decolonization Committee confirms that the Israeli authorities continue to use excessive force indiscriminately against children, women and the elderly.”
