WASHINGTON: Saudi Arabia gave “complete and total support” to a US investigation into a deadly shooting by a Saudi aviation student at a Florida navy base, America’s chief prosecutor said Monday. Saudi Air Force officer, 2nd Lt. Mohammed Alshamrani, opened fire last month at the base in Pensacola, killing three US sailors and injuring eight other people. Attorney General William Barr said none of the other Saudi cadets training at the base had prior knowledge of or assited in the attack. He added that there was also no evidense taht the other cadets had any involvement with terrorist groups.
