RIYADH — The Ministry of Health has said there is no risk in dealing with shipments and postal parcels coming from China and other countries where Coronavirus is suspected to have spread, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Sunday. In a statement, the ministry ruled out the virus spreading via goods. As to the prevention of this disease, the Ministry of Health said precautionary measures were similar to those against other respiratory diseases. All people are expected to ensure washing of both hands, use of paper tissues when sneezing or coughing, and avoid mixing with people having symptoms of respiratory diseases. In its statement, the ministry called on the people to dial toll free number 937 of the Health Center, in case of any inquiries on the new Coronavirus. The Health Ministry has stressed to the public to seek information only from the official sources and not to believe in rumors.
