MAKKAH — The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has inaugurated Thursday advanced self-sterilization gates in the entrances to the Grand Mosque. These gates are equipped with the latest technologies and are installed as part of the precautionary measures that have been carried out since the outbreak of Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19). These advanced gates are used for sterilizing people with sanitizer spray and equipped with thermal cameras to test temperatures from 6 meters and a smart screen for speed-reading of temperatures of several people at the same time. These advanced gates have been set up within the preventive and precautionary measures that were taken by the presidency to confront coronavirus pandemic. — SPA
