RIYADH: 700 monitors are overseeing several services at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday. The monitors will work together to organize field plans for cleaning and disinfecting the Grand Mosque and its courtyards. They will also inspect the health standards of sterilization services, the quality of mobility services, and the standard of operations to distribute Zamzam water throughout the mosque via containers, drinking fountains, and smart carts. They will also supervise the progress of work on the ground around the clock to measure levels of performance and implement improvements in cooperation with the relevant departments serving pilgrims and worshippers at the Grand Mosque. The duties of the service monitors include supervising technical mechanisms used to distribute Zamzam water and clean the mosque, as well as participating in the continuous development of services.
