DAMMAM: The Eastern Province municipality has carried out hundreds of field inspection tours with relevant authorities as part of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The inspections resulted in a number of violations: 16 for overcrowding at malls, three for overcrowding at workers’ residences, and 31 violations at a number of markets and malls for failing to enforce health measures. In terms of cleanliness, 7,388 tons of garbage were removed, with the help of 1,090 people and 1,868 machines and other cleaning equipment.
