RIYADH: Chinese Ambassador Chen Weiqing on Monday stressed the need to enhance Arab-Chinese relations in all spheres of life. He said the Arab and Chinese nations enjoy close ties and there are commonalities between the two cultures. The envoy was speaking at a virtual symposium titled “Arab-Chinese Cultural Relations” organized by the King Abdul Aziz Public Library in Riyadh. Highlighting his country’s ties with Saudi Arabia, he said that the two countries have become closer since the beginning of diplomatic ties. The bilateral ties are increasing continuously in all fields, he added.  The envoy said Prince Mohammed bin Salman Award for Cultural Cooperation and other similar initiatives are a testimony to the growing bonds between the two sides.
