Riyadh, Jan 22, SPA -- Saudi-Chinese friendly relations have grown on a fast track since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1990, according to Chinese charge d'Affaires in Riyadh Wang Kejian. Expressing delight over the visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-aziz to China, which began earlier today with the arrival of the King in Beijing, the Chinese Envoy said it would positively contribute to further enhancing bilateral relations. Kejian hoped that the visit would yield positive results and open new horizons of cooperation between the Two countries. He pointed out that a number of international topics would be discussed during the visit, and hoped that the Kingdom and China would enhance their cooperation in a manner that serves the global peace and security. The Envoy said King Abdullah is visiting China in response to an invitation extended to him by Chinese President Hu Jintao. Highlighting the existing friendly relations between the Kingdom and China, Kejian said "Political relations have been deepened, the current cooperation in economic, trade and energy sectors has been broadened.
