Saudi health ministry’s 937 call center receives over 2 million calls in August

RIYADH — The 937 call center of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health received a total of 2,442,010 calls in the month of August this year, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday carried by the Saudi Press Agency. The ministry stated that the month of August witnessed an unprecedented achievement in the work of its 937 call center, as it achieved a record in responding to the calls of beneficiaries. The number of the received calls exceeded more than 100,000 calls in one day, which lasted for several days during the month. The center is operated by more than 3,000 customer service specialists and doctors. It also provides several services including medical consultations, appointment reservations at primary healthcare centers, anti-smoking clinic appointments, and technical support for the ministry’s e-applications. The 937 call center works around the clock through its various channels.
