Who’s Who: Fadel Ali Mohammed Al-Nemer, chairman at the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation

Fadel Ali Mohammed Al-Nemer has been chairman of the board of directors at the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation since February last year. He graduated from King Saud University in the field of physical education and movement sciences in 2008. He proved his skills and ability as an administrator in 2006, when he contributed to the media development of Al-Salam Sports Club. He established the official website, the Al-Salam mobile service, the sports committee, as well as attracting many talented young Saudis to the club. He was also president of the committee and supervised many sports. As a result of his hard work and dedication to the club, Al-Nemer was named its president and began to move it to a higher level in all sports in 2019. With his achievements and developments, he became a well-known sports figure and represented the Kingdom in many regional and international events. In 2021, after holding many positions in the Kingdom’s sport sector, Al-Nemer became the president of the Saudi Handball Federation. He started setting new strategies to achieve the federation’s vision, in conjunction with the strategy of the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Al-Nemer was recently elected as a member of the board of directors at the Asian Handball Federation and chairman of the 23rd ordinary general assembly of the federation. Al-Nemer played a major role in hosting the Super Globe 2021 competition in Saudi Arabia and organized the first women’s handball league in the Kingdom in January.
