The prosecution confirmed that it had contacted the university after examining the complaint to consider enabling the detainee from his legal right to complete his university studies. The university, which in turn urgently considered the prosecution"s request, has returned the suspended student to his classrooms. Education is one of the statutory rights guaranteed by the regulations and instructions for detainees and prisoners in Saudi Arabia, the prosecution confirmed, while noting this is held according to advanced educational practices that are carried out in the Kingdom"s prisons.
