Lily Siti Multatuliana is a poet, lecturer, translator, and essayist who was born in 1958 in Bogor Indonesia. She had lived in Wolonggong Australia for 2 years and in Melaka Malaysia for 12 years. Now she lives in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Lily writes poetry and essay on literature and culture. She is the translator of English poems into Indonesian for Point Edition, digital magazine in Spain. She got Master Degree from Faculty of Literature (focus on Translation Studies) at Gunadarma University in Indonesia. She attended Intensive Course in English for Cultural Studies in TAFE Illawara Australia and University of Wollongong N.S.W Australia. She is active in poetry reading in various countries, such as in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Bangladesh and Australia (Sydney). Her Poems are published in Anthology with Asian poets and International poets and published in the newspaper in Indonesia and Malaysia. She presented her essays at seminars in Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh. Her book “Sastra Melayu & Sastra Indonesia: Antara Mata dan Kalbu” (The Malay Literature & Indonesian Literature: Between the Eyes and Heart) was written in Bahasa Indonesia (2018). This book is the result of study literary works in Malaysia and in Indonesia. She received NUMERA SRIKANDI Award (2018) from Malaysia and The PERRUAS Award (2020) from Indonesia.
