Borussia Dortmund stormed past VfB Stuttgart 5-0 with two goals from Jude Bellingham on Saturday to notch their first win in four league games and climb to fourth place in the Bundesliga. Dortmund, who host Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday, scored after two minutes through Bellingham and were 3-0 up by half-time. “It was a deserved win today. We wanted play with a lot of confidence and wanted to win it and we did it really well,” said Dortmund’s coach, Edin Terzic. “It was not just one solo goal – we combined as a team, won possession as a team and that is how we scored our goals. “We know we have to keep working and not praise the team too much and on Tuesday we have to show an even better performance.” Dortmund opened their account with Bellingham slotting in from a Niklas Süle pass for his first league goal this season. The early opener threw Stuttgart off their game and before they had any time to react, Dortmund struck again. Defender Süle was left with too much space in the box, allowing him to volley in a cross after 13 minutes before Gio Reyna, making his first start of the season after a string of injuries, threaded home the third in the 44th minute. After the break Dortmund picked up where they had left off and midfielder Bellingham got his second goal of the afternoon, curling a superb effort past keeper Florian Müller. Another quick passing combination sliced open the Stuttgart defence, allowing Youssoufa Moukoko to tap in a Raphaël Guerreiro cut-back. Despite the defeat Stuttgart’s interim coach, Michael Wimmer, will stay on at least until the end of the year, the club said after the game. Bayern Munich struck twice in the first half through Jamal Musiala and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to defeat hosts Hoffenheim 2-0 and move within a point of leaders Union Berlin. Bayern never had to hit top form against toothless Hoffenheim but were dominant in the opening period, killing off the game quickly. Musiala put the visitors ahead in the 18th minute after being left completely unmarked at the far post. Bayern keeper Sven Ulreich, replacing the injured Manuel Neuer, responded with a good stop of his own when he kicked away a Georginio Rutter shot. Choupo-Moting doubled the visitors’ lead in the 38th, playing a quick one-two with Serge Gnabry and then turning the ball past Baumann from a tight angle. “I am very satisfied with our performance. The first 35 minutes we showed a lot of passion. We could have scored another four or five goals,” said the Bayern coach, Julian Nagelsmann. RB Leipzig pulled off an incredible comeback to draw 3-3 with Augsburg after trailing 3-0 in the second half. Augsburg took the lead through a Mergim Berisha penalty in the 34th minute, Berisha then laid on assists for Ermedin Demirovic early in the second half and Ruben Vargas in the 64th minute. Leipzig then came storming back with André Silva grabbing their first on 73 minutes with Christopher Nkunku and Hugo Novoa sealing the breathtaking draw at the death. Freiburg returned to winning ways with an easy 2-0 win over Werder Bremen while Bayer Leverkusen drew 2-2 with Wolfsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach went down 3-1 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt, with Jesper Lindstrøm scoring twice in the first half for the visitors. In Serie A, Lautaro Martínez scored twice to help Internazionale defeat Fiorentina 4-3 in a thriller. Inter took the lead after two minutes when Martínez’s perfectly-timed through ball sent Nicolò Barella clear on goal to score. Martínez doubled the lead with a superb solo effort before Fiorentina hit back to level following Arthur Cabral’s penalty and Jonathan Ikoné’s curled finish. Martínez put Inter back into the lead from the penalty spot before Luka Jovic again levelled the match in the 90th minute. Five minutes into stoppage time, Henrikh Mkhitaryan secured the dramatic win for the visitors. Two goals by Milan midfielder Brahim Díaz helped the hosts ease to a comfortable 4-1 win over promoted Serie A side Monza at San Siro as they moved up to second place. Brahim opened the scoring in the 16th minute when he received the ball near the centre of the pitch and made a solo run towards Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio’s goal before firing a low shot into the bottom right corner. Monza had two chances to level before the half-hour mark but Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu first kept out a powerful shot from distance by midfielder Stefano Sensi and then did well to save a diving header from Carlos Augusto. Shortly afterwards Milan could have had a two-goal advantage but forward Divock Origi could only find the side-netting with a shot from inside the box. Divock Origi atoned for missing a good chance by setting Brahim up with a neat pass inside the box for the Spaniard to double Milan’s lead in the 41st minute. The Belgian made it 3-0 in the 65th when he made space on the edge of the box and sent a powerful shot into the top right corner five minutes before Monza’s Filippo Ranocchia pulled a goal back with a superb free kick after Origi’s foul on Matteo Pessina. Encouraged by their late goal, the visitors showed more courage approaching Milan’s goal in the last 20 minutes but Milan forward Rafael Leao dashed their hopes when he sealed the win in the 84th with a fine strike inside the left post. Pasquale Mazzocchi scored the only goal of the game three minutes after the break as Salernitana strengthened their hopes of a top-half finish in winning 1-0 at home to Spezia. Late goals by Lucas Vázquez and Federico Valverde gave Real Madrid a 3-1 win against struggling Sevilla and a six-point lead at the top of La Liga. Luka Modric put the champions ahead after five minutes, slotting a low Vinícius Júnior cross into an empty goal. Sevilla equalised in the 54th minute when Érik Lamela ghosted behind the defence to score from close range. However Vinícius Júnior shone again as he gave a short pass to Vázquez who scored with a precise shot from inside the box in the 79th minute. Valverde wrapped up the win two minutes later with a beautiful curling strike from the edge of the box into the top corner of the net. Two goals from Florian Lejeune helped Rayo Vallecano thrash Cádiz 5-1 while Real Valladolid edged to a 1-0 home win over Real Sociedad. Edinson Cavani fired Valencia into the lead but Mallorca hit back to claim a 2-1 away victory. Lens moved up to second in Ligue 1 with a tenacious 1-0 victory at Marseille after David da Costa’s deflected winner in the second half. Alexandre Lacazette scored a 90th minute winner for Lyon in their 2-1 victory at Montpellier. Houssem Aouar opened the scoring for the visitors before Elye Wahi equalised. Both teams were reduced to 10 men after Stephy Mavididi and Sinaly Diomandé were sent off before Lacazette’s goal gave Laurent Blanc his first win in charge of Lyon.
