Beijing, Rabi'II 23, 1434, Mar 5, 2013, SPA - China will promote economic stability and restructuring with a broad growth target of 7.5 per cent this year, Premier Wen Jiabao said Tuesday. The government would have to work hard to meet its target in the face of "risks and challenges" and a global economic environment that remained "full of uncertainty," Wen told about 3,000 delegates at the National People's Congress, the annual state parliament of the ruling Communist Party. "We must maintain a proper level of economic growth to provide necessary conditions for creating jobs and improving people's well-being and to create a stable environment for changing the growth model and restructuring the economy," he said at the opening of the 13-day session.
