The committee also stressed that, "security will not be fulfilled except through reaching a just, lasting and comprehensive solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict, and that any security arrangements should ensure the full and comprehensive withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories, and ending any form of the Israeli existence in the Palestinian territories, while calling on President Obama to continue his efforts on these previous bases." It also renewed, "the Arab stance that just and comprehensive peace with Israel will not be achieved except through a full and comprehensive Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories to the frontiers of June 4th, 1967 including withdrawal from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, and territories which are still occupied in Lebanon, along with the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. It also stressed, "the finding of a just and agreed-upon solution to the refugees 'issue according to the relevant international legitimacy resolutions, the Arab Peace Initiative, along with rejecting any partial or staged solutions in this respect." The committee also, "welcomed Egypt's decision on applying facilities on opening the Rafah crossing, and reasserted the necessity of expediting the lifting of the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip, and opening all crossings to embark upon the reconstruction of this coastal strip, and calling on the international community to work toward lifting this blockade." Finally, the committee expressed, "the full Arab support to the steps of executing the Palestinian National Reconciliation Agreement along with its subsidiaries which were all signed on the fourth of this month under the sponsorship of Egypt, while considering the Palestinian reconciliation as the real guarantee for protecting the interests of the Egyptian people, along with calling for the swift formation of the new Palestinian government." --SPA 12:44 LOCAL TIME 09:44 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/897584
