Obama to Visit Indonesia, Australia Next Month

Washington, February 02, 2010, SPA -- U.S. President Barack Obama will make his first international trip of 2010 in March, visiting Indonesia and Australia, the White House announced Monday. Obama, who spent several years in Indonesia as a child, will formally launch a comprehensive partnership with Indonesia during the trip, spokesman Robert Gibbs said. In Australia to mark the 70th anniversary of U.S.-Australian relations, Obama will discuss Afghanistan and nuclear non-proliferation, Gibbs said.
