BAGHDAD, December 13, SPA -- An Iraqi police official says a bomb-rigged car exploded near a convoy of a top security officer in western Iraq and left at least two people dead. The official says the apparent target of the Monday blast, police Col. Saad al-Shimari, was not injured, but two of his guards were killed.
