Brussels, March 11, SPA --The Czech presidency of the European Union said today it had invited officials from the Palestinian Authority,Egypt and Jordan to Brussels for a fresh round of talks on the Middle East, dpa reported. The meeting, the third of its kind since the Gaza conflict brokeout at the beginning of the year, is to take place on Sunday, March15, officials said. "The objective of the dinner meeting is particularly thediscussion of the current situation in Palestine and the role ofEgypt in mediating the Middle East negotiations," a presidencystatement said.
