BAGHDAD, May 26, SPA -- Three people have been killed by a roadside bomb that struck an American convoy carrying soldiers,government employees and contractors west of Baghdad, theU.S. military said Tuesday. It was not immediately known whether any of those killedin the bombing in Fallujah on Monday were Americans, saidmilitary spokesman Maj. Jose Lopez. Two other people werewounded, according to a U.S. statement released Tuesday. The statement said the bomb struck a vehicle in the convoyas it passed near Fallujah.
