Amman, May 05, SPA -- King Abdullah II of Jordan flew to Cairo Tuesday for talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on efforts under way to re-launch "serious negotiations" between the Palestinians and Israel on the basis of the two-state solution, the royal court said. "The discussions will focus on the outcome of King Abdullah'smeeting with US President Barack Obama on April 21 that sought toarrive at a comprehensive and lasting peace in the region on thebasis of the relevant references, foremost the Arab peaceinitiative," the statement said. During the White House meeting, Obama strongly supported the two-state vision as well as the Arab peace blueprint, which offers Israel a recognition by all Arab countries if it quits all lands it occupied in the 1967 Six-Day War, including East Jerusalem, according to a report of DPA.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/661117
