The Saudi side at the council includes Prince Naif bin Abudlaziz, the Interior Minister, as Deputy Chairman, and the membership of each of Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, Dr Musaed al-Eiban, the minister of state and member of the Cabinet, the finance minister, the minister of culture and information and the minister of commerce and industry. The Qatari side includes Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr al-Thani, the Premier and Foreign Minister, as Deputy Chairman, , as well as membership of the minister of state for foreign affairs, the minister of economy and finance, the minister of state for internal affairs, and the minister of trade. The council is concerned with developing bilateral relations in the political, security, financial, economic, trade, investment, cultural and information domains.
