LONDON, August 18 (SPA) - Three Afghan civilians -- a womanand two children -- were killed during an incident involvingBritish troops, the Ministry of Defence said on Monday,correcting a previous report that four civilians were killed. The MoD said in a statement the civilians were killed in theSangin area of southern Afghanistan on Saturday "when UK forcesfired rockets at Taliban fighters, unaware that civilians werein the vicinity of enemy fighters in a local compound".
