KARACHI, September 09, SPA -- Turkish President Abdullah Gul, has invited Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari for an official visit to Turkey. The Turkish Daily News reported in its Monday’s publication quoting a statement from the President’s Office. It said that the Turkish President congratulated Asif Ali Zardari on his election as the President of Pakistan. “We believe that this will enhance welfare of our two countries’ people who share important cultural and historical ties”, the statement was quoted as saying by the Associated Press of Pakistan.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/588650
