CAIRO, Egypt, April 29, SPA -- A Palestinian official says 30 members of various factions are gathering in Cairo to hold talkswith Egyptian mediators over finding a comprehensive trucewith Israel and a measure of unity among the dividedfactions. Mohammed al-Baba, a leading member of the PopularResistance Committees says that the groups will meetTuesday evening with Egypt's intelligence chief, OmarSuleiman. Al-Baba, whose group has close ties with Hamas and otherPalestinian factions, says that a prisoner swap involvingthe exchange of a number of Palestinians for Cpl. GiladShalit is also in the agenda.
