Riyadh, Feb. 19, SPA -- GCC Secretary General Abdulrahman al-Atiyyah has condemned the re-publication of photographs insulting Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, by some Danish newspapers. In a statement today, al-Atiyyah urged the concerned authorities in Denmark to put an end to such provocative acts which hurt the feelings of hundreds of millions of Muslims throughout the world. He noted that such provocative acts pave the way for extremism which runs counter to the teachings of Islam.
