Berlin, Nov 6 , SPA -- Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has expressed his admiration of the policies adopted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and said they aim at achieving welfare and prosperity and establishing economic and scientific projects in the Kingdom. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, Schroeder viewed the King's visit to Germany as a very important event due to the fact that the Kingdom has been leading the Muslim world and has been contributing to solving problems and conflicts which take place in the Muslim world. He hailed his efforts to restore the Palestinian unity at the Makkah conference. Schroeder said that Germany wants a strong strategic partnership with the Kingdom due to its political importance at the Islamic and international arenas in addition to its economic weight.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/497206
