On the peace process in the Middle East, Rice said progress has been attained in this respect, and called on all Arab countries to exert additional efforts in this regard. She affirmed that she has felt a strong accord among the Arab countries in this respect when they attended the Annapolis conference and supported its agenda as well as through their backing to the acceleration of the peace process in addition to supporting the efforts being exerted by the US as regards the Israeli-Palestinian issue.
