ISLAMABAD, NOVEMBER 15, SPA -- Shaukat Aziz ceases to be prime minister mid-night Thursday and the National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament) will stand dismissed to pave way for fresh parliamentary elections in January next year, officials said. "I am leaving the office with a sense of satisfaction," Aziz told state-run Pakistan Television (PTV). The government of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) and its allies worked hard with sincerity and commitment for the welfare of Pakistan and its people.
