KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, October 14, SPA -- A suicide bomber on a motorbike detonated explosives in a crowded marketplacenear Afghan police, killing nine people and wounding atleast 29, officials said. The blast Saturday killed two police officers and sevencivilians in the city of Spin Boldak in the southernprovince of Kandahar near the border with Pakistan, astatement from NATO's International Security Assistanceforce said.
