ISLAMABAD, August 07, SPA -- Pakistan and China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan , said an official statement. The MoU was signed by Interior Secretary Syed Kamakl Shah and Ambassador of China to Pakistan Luo Zhaohui. According to the MoU, Pakistan will take special measures for the safety of Chinese citizens in Pakistan , especially for those who are working on projects at different sites. China will also support Pakistan in every possible way for ensuring safety of its citizens, said the MoU. Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao was also present at the occasion. The MoU said this step has been taken after the killing of some of Chinese citizens over the past few months. Sherpao assured that Pakistan will take all necessary steps for the safety of Chinese citizens.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/473343
