Cairo, April 16, SPA -- Armenian President Robert Kocharian reiterated today that the establishment of a Palestinian state will contribute to resolving Arab-Israeli conflict. He also expressed hope that joint efforts, would finally lead to the establishment of such a state. In a press statement to the Egyptian state-run Middle East News Agency (MENA), he said that Armenia, for a long, has been supporting and voting for the establishment of the Palestinian state in international forums. "The deteriorating situation in Iraq needs extensive and comprehensive talks among the Iraqi parties and sects with the participation of International bodies that are deeply concerned with Iraqi crises,the Armenian president added. "The imposition of sanctions on Iran because of its nuclear program will further increase tensions.
