The paper added this clear approach was followed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz during his comprehensive address to his Arab brothers after he assumed the presidency of the 19th Arab summit. Al-Nadwah hailed the correct diagnosis provided by the Saudi King to treat the current circumstances after more than sixty years of the establishment of the Arab League, and put facts clear before all when he said: "Today we are far away from unity than when the Arab League was set up." The paper clarified that the Arab League should not be blamed and leaders of the Arab nation are to blame, since they are the ones who adopt resolutions and the Arab League only reflects this fact. It added what made Arab leaders retreat from achieving unity, is simply their permanent disputes and the rejection to apply means which lead to unity. The paper concluded: " Unfortunately, this regrettable situation led to the painful scenes which we see now in Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine and Sudan."-- More www.spa.gov.sa/436512
