BAGHDAD, April 8, SPA -- A truck bomb exploded Sunday near a hospital south of Baghdad, killing at least 12 people, the Iraqi military said. The truck, loaded with explosives, was parked nearMahmoudiyah General Hospital, an Iraqi army officer said. Several people were also wounded, and the death toll was expected to rise, he was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
