Tehran, April 9, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization Of Islamic Conference' ( OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu met here today with Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad. They discussed issues pertaining to the Muslim World and means of enhancing solidarity among the Muslim countries, according to reports circulated by the Iranian Media organs. The Iranian President stressed the importance of the role being played by the OIC in the sphere of the current International situation and the latest developments. "The unity and strength of the Muslim Nations are in the interest of International peace and security," President Ahmadi-Nejad said. "The occupiers want to spread splits among the Iraqi people to justify their illegitimate presence in this important Islamic country," he added.
