GENEVA, MARCH 14, SPA -- THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA HAS URGED THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO STOP ISRAEL'S UNFAIR PRACTICES AGAINST THE PALESTINIANS AS WELL AS ITS EFFORTS TO JUDAIZE AL-AQSA MOSQUE. THE REMARKS OF THE KINGDOM CAME AT THE SPEECH DELIVERED BY DR PRINCE TURKI BIN MOHAMMED BIN SAUD AL-KABEER, THE ASSISTANT UNDERSECRETARY OF THE FOREIGN MINISTRY FOR POLITICAL AFFAIRS AND HEAD OF THE GENERAL ADMINISTRATION FOR INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AT THE FOREIGN MINISTRY, BEFORE THE UN'S COUNCIL OF HUMAN RIGHTS HERE YESTERDAY. HE CALLED FOR CORRECTING MISTAKES COMMITTED IN THE PAST FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS. HE SLAMMED THE PROVOCATIVE POLICY OF ISRAEL AND ITS ENDEAVORS TO VIOLATE THE SANCTITY OF AL-AQSA MOSQUE AND TO JUDAIZE AL-QUDS. PRINCE TURKI HIGHLIGHTED THE EFFORTS EXERTED BY SAUDI ARABIA TO CONCILIATE THE PALESTINIANS, AND SAID MAKKAH CONFERENCE AIMED AT NARROWING THE GAP BETWEEN THE PALESTINIAN LEADERS. MEANWHILE, PRINCE TURKI LAUDED THE KINGDOM'S EFFORTS FOR ENHANCING THE HUMAN RIGHTS, AND SAID THE KINGDOM HAS BEEN DOING A LOT IN THIS RESPECT. HE ALSO PRAISED THE REFORMATORY STEPS TAKEN BY THE KINGDOM TO PRESERVE THE RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUALS AND THE SOCIETY.
