Riyadh, Dec 2, SPA -- The Saudi Shoura Council will hold here on Sunday its regular 54th session under the chairmanship of Dr.Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid. The session will also be attended by Eng. Abdullah Abdur-rahman Al-hussein, the Saudi Minister of Water and Electricity. The Shoura Council will discuss a number of issues including the system of the higher education council project; the system of the universities and the system of regulating international agreements. On Monday, the Council will discuss a number of issues including the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Saudi Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) and the state ministry for the environmental affairs in Egypt to protect and develop environment and the MoU between the PME and the Egyptian Meteorology Authority. The council will hear from communication and IT committee on the annual report of the ministry of communication and information technology for the fiscal years 1424/1425AH &1425/1426AH. The council will also be briefed by the financial committee view on the annual report of the Saudi fund for development for the fiscal years 1424/1425AH & 1425/1426AH. It will discuss the differing views between the council and the cabinet on the regulative system for explosives, the double taxation agreement between the government of Saudi Arabia and the republic of Greece.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/407896
