funds frozen at Macau bank HONG KONG, MARCH 22, SPA -- A Bank of China official said Thursdaythat the state-run lender was not asked to accept thetransfer of North Korean funds from a Macau bank accused oflaundering money for the North, REPORTED AP. «I can tell you that up until now, we were not asked todeal with this business,» Li Lihui, vice chairman andpresident, told reporters. The North Korean deposits have been frozen at Banco DeltaAsia since the U.S. blacklisted the Macau bank 19 monthsago.
