Celebrations mark 50 years of Indo-Oman ties

Muscat, March 6, SPA -- Celebrations marking the completion of 50 years of diplomatic ties between Oman and India concluded at a gala function on board the Indian naval ship INS Mumbai, currently on a visit to Muscat. A report circulated today by the Press Trust of India and published by the Times of India, said top officials from India attended the function last night, including Admiral Arun Prakash, Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of Naval staff, Indian Navy and Indian Ambassador to Oman Ashok Kumar Attri. The Omani side was represented by Brigadier Saud Suleiman Al Habsi, Assistant Chief of Staff, Sultan's Armed Forces.
