Gauhati, Oct 17, SPA -- Tribal militants reportedly ambusheda bus and used machetes to kill 22 people from a rivalethnic group in India's remote northeast on Monday, anofficial said. Another five people were injured in the attack in thevillage of Zirikindeng in Assam, a northeastern state, saidD. D. Tripathi, a magistrate in the Karbi Anglong district,where the assault took place.
