Tehran, 30 Nov, SPA -- Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Hameed Ridha Asafi has highlighted the existing deep-rooted relations between Iran and Syria . In a statement reported by the Iranian Press Agency after his arrival to Damascus here today, Asafi lauded the cooperation of the Syrian authorities with the international investigation committee on the assassination of Former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Harir. He hoped that the issue would be tackled within its pure legal framework .
